VON DEN ERFINDERN DES WINGSURFENS
Vor fast 10 Jahren hat Slingshot Designer und Innovateur Tony Logosz einen aufblasbaren Flügel mit einer Strut entwickelt welcher ursprünglich zum down-wind SUPn gedacht war. 10 Jahre später bekommt der Slingwing mit dem Foil-Boom seinen Einsatzbereich.

NEW for 2020, the SlingWing is part windsurfing, part kiteboarding and part flying, each broken down to their most basic form. When you combine it with a foil, you get an entirely new sport that simplifies the experience and gear you need to fly across the water powered by the wind. If youre new to windsports, the SlingWing is easier, safer and more user-friendly than any of its predecessors, and if youre an experienced wind junkie, its a fun and simplistic style of riding youll enjoy instantly.
The SlingWing is a light weight inflatable wing that has a rigid frame when pumped up and can be packed in a small bag when deflated. No harness, control bar, lines, mast, boom or battens needed. Its designed to be used with a foil or paddle board with enough volume for the rider to stand on and can also be used with snow sports or skating.
WHY YOULL LOVE THE SLINGWING
Using the wind to propel you across the water (or land) is an addicting sensation, and the Slingwing is yet another form to get your fix. You need decent board skills, but little to no sailing or kiting experience to get the hang of it right out of the gate. Its unique appeal comes from how simple it is and the freedom you feel using it. Just stand on your board, hold the wing at the proper angle and off you go. To ease power, just sheet out or let go with your back hand and the wing drifts with you like a paper airplane.
WHO IS IT FOR?
One of the greatest things about the SlingWing is how simple and safe it is to use. All you really need are moderate board/foil skills and a basic awareness of the wind. It was designed to be combined with foiling, and since the friction is so low, it takes very little arm strength to use once youre cruising. It works the same without a foil- on a paddle board, skis/snowboard or skateboard- but may require more strength to use for extended periods.

1 | BOMBPROOF SLINGSHOT CONSTRUCTION
In Sachen Verarbeitung hat Slingshot den Begriff Surf Tough geprägt. Dahinter verbirgt sich das Qualitätsversprechen extrem stabile und langlebige Wings zu bauen, die jeden noch so harten Spülgang im Shorebreak überstehen.
2 | REFLEX INFLATABLE TRAILING EDGE DESIGN
The SlingWings unique design features an inflatable trailing edge that completes a rigid frame around the entire wing (not just the leading edge like other designs). This makes a big difference in performance, wind and load tolerance and gives it pitch positive flight. The frame keeps it from flapping, fluttering and folding in the wind the way less robust designs are prone to.
3 | POWER GRIP Y HANDLE LAYOUT
Multiple grip points in a Y shape along the leading edge and center strut gives you the freedom to position your hands in the ideal position no matter how you maneuver. This unique design also gives you better leverage over the wing to manipulate its angle of attack with greater precision and less strain.
4 | WIDE BOY MONO STRUT
The SlingWings center strut is large and in charge, and for good reason. The wide strut profile allows the power grip handles more leverage over the center axis of the wing, which translates to an easier and more efficient control in your hands.
5 | BUDDY WINDOWS
See-through panels along the center strut provide increased visibility when using the wing out front instead of overhead.
6 | SKATE SCUFF TOUGH STRIPS
An attention to detail that will dramatically increase durability for anyone looking to use the SlingWing as a crossover toy for skating or on the snow. Scuff strips are located on the wingtips where they are vulnerable to damage from dragging on rough surfaces.

The Rocket Air boards are built using higher grade dropstitch with a fused, twin layer shell and a specific dropstitch pattern bringing extra stiffness which is essential to control the board properly when foiling. The weight of the board is incredibly light which makes them easy to handle and a lot of fun, even for advanced riders.
Finally, the Rocket Air boards can all be stored in a small bag to be easily brought on for your next adventure.
DROP STITCH
An incredible technology developed originally to make inflatable rescue airplanes! It was later on used by inflatable boat and canoe manufacturers. It is composed of a vertical stitch in-between the deck and the hull that keeps them parallel and extremely rigid. This allows the boards to be inflated up to 21 PSI.
TUTTLE BOX
The tuttle box is a fin box standard of the windsurfing industry. With the angled front and back faces the tuttle head is firmly maintained inside the box. Its shallower depth makes it more suited for the smaller boards.

Das Hover Glide FSUP V.3 revolutioniert das Segment der einsteigerfreundlichen und zugleich extrem auftriebsstarken Foils für SUP. Mit seiner einzigartigen Wendigkeit und der für diese Flügelgröße ziemlich außergewöhnlichen Fahrgeschwindigkeit bedient es die Wünsche von Einsteigern, Aufsteigern und Fortgeschrittenen gleichermaßen.
CHARAKTERISTIK
Das Hover Glide FSUP V.3 ist mit dem Infinity-84-Frontflügel ausgestattet und wird damit zu einem der vielseitigsten Foil-Setups in unserem gesamten Angebot. Die enorme Fläche und das großzügig gewählte Profil des Frontflügels verleihen dem Foil einen bahnbrechenden Auftrieb und ein Höchstmaß an Fahrstabilität, womit die ersten Fahrversuche sowie das Erlernen des Richtungswechsels im Flugzustand bestens unterstützt werden. Die Outline und die gewölbten Schwingen des Infinity 84 sorgen zudem für eine so ausgeprägte Agilität und Wendigkeit, dass Fahrspaß in jeder Situation zum festen Produktversprechen gehört.
CARBON COMPOSITE WING CONSTRUCTION
Der Space Skate ist wie die übrigen Flügel der Hover-Glide-Range aus Carbon-Composite gefertigt. Diese Konstruktion zeichnet sich durch Robustheit, ein niedriges Gewicht und einen geringeren Preis als der von Vollcarbonflügeln aus.
AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINUM MAST
Die Masten der Hover-Glide-Foils bestehen allesamt aus besonders widerstandsfähigem, steifen Aluminium, was eine absolut präzise Profilgebung ermöglicht und Langlebigkeit verspricht. Erhältlich sind die Masten in den Längen 46, 61, 71 und 90 Zentimeter.
SWITCH FUSE
Finde deinen individuellen Sweet Spot! Die branchenweit einzigartige Shift Fuselage bietet die Möglichkeit, die Position des Frontwings weiter nach vorne oder nach hinten zu setzen. So kannst du in Relation zu deinem Stance das optimale Setup schaffen.
SAFE-T WINGLETS
Eine der häufigsten Verletzungsursachen beim Foilen ist der Kontakt mit den meist scharfkantigen Flügelenden. Um dieses Risiko zu minimieren, haben wir die Safe-T Winglets entwickelt. Abgerundete Flügelenden, die das Verletzungsrisiko reduzieren, aber keine negativen Einflüsse auf das Strömungsverhalten und die Fahreigenschaften des Foils haben.
FOUR-BOLT PEDESTAL MOUNT
Die Platte für die Verbindung des Foils mit dem Board wird mit vier Schrauben fixiert. Um zusätzlich zu den Trimmoptionen über die Schiene im Board noch weitere zu ermöglichen, ist die Platte mit insgesamt acht Bohrungen versehen. Damit das Hover Glide mit jeglichen Boards kompatibel ist, bieten wir als Zubehör auch einen Tuttlebox-Adapter an.
